Who is behind this

Datenfluss-Standard is a private open-source project from Switzerland, built and run by one person – we say that this plainly because a register that demands transparency from others has to start with itself. A full legal notice with name and address will be published on this page when the paid offering goes live; until then: if you want to know whom you are dealing with, write to us and you will get an answer with a name.

The standard itself belongs to no one: code under MIT, specification under CC BY 4.0.

The continuity question

What happens if that person stops?

The project is built to outlive its operator – not as a promise, but as architecture:

The standard is an open specification with open code. Any person or company may carry it forward without asking anyone – the licences are chosen for exactly that.

The declarations do not live with us but on the organisations' own domains. They keep working even if this register were gone tomorrow.

The register is reproducible: scanner, analysis and all raw data are open. Anyone who runs the scanner has their own register within a week – registers are interchangeable in this standard by design.

For organisations listed in the register

Correction, addition, removal

Every profile in the register is based on an outside measurement that shows a lower bound and is not a rating. If something is wrong, we fix it.

Correction: a short message naming the affected address is enough. We check and adjust, or measure again.

Add your own side: publish a declaration under this standard on your own domain. It appears in the register after the next run – you do not need us for that.

Removal: on request we remove a profile from the register – no reasons asked, no questions.

Our own privacy

What this website processes

No third parties, no cookies, no JavaScript, no access logs. Whatever processing remains is stated machine-readably in our own declaration.
